Grades 11 & 12 undertake the International Baccalaureate Organisation’s IB Diploma programme which is a demanding pre-university course of study that leads to examinations; it is designed for highly motivated students aged 16 to 19. The programme has earned a reputation for rigorous assessment, giving Diploma holders access to the world’s leading universities. The Diploma Programme’s grading system is criterion based; each student’s performance is measured against well-defined levels of achievement consistent from one examination session to the next. Grades reflect attainment of knowledge and skills relative to set standards that are applied equally to all international schools.
The subjects we may offer include: Vietnamese, Korean, English, French, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography, History, Information Technology in a Global Society, French, Visual Arts, Music, Business & Management and Economics.
The International Baccalaureate Diploma is progressive from IGCSE. IB and IGCSE together constitute a fully integrated curriculum for our students in their last three/four years of secondary education at HIS.
